How much are Pumpkin Patch Express tickets?

Tickets are $15 per person for everyone age 2 and up. Kids ages 2 to 13 receive a pumpkin with their ticket, and little ones under 2 can add a pumpkin of their own for just $5.

What dates is Pumpkin Patch Express running in 2026?

Pumpkin Patch Express runs three weekends this October: October 10 & 11, October 17 & 18, and October 24 & 25, with departures from 11:15 AM to 4:15 PM each day.

What time should we arrive?

Gates open at 10:45 AM. We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time so you have plenty of time to check in and board.

How long is the Pumpkin Patch Express ride?

The ride is a 45-minute round trip aboard our vintage coach, with up to 40 passengers per trip. Six trips depart each day at 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM, 2:15 PM, 3:15 PM, and 4:15 PM.

Is Pumpkin Patch Express scary for young kids?

Not at all! Pumpkin Patch Express is designed to be fun and lighthearted for families and young children, with nothing overly frightening along the way.

All aboard for fall's favorite family tradition! Climb aboard our train at the Ohio Railway Museum for a 45-minute round-trip ride to the pumpkin patch, where every child ages 2 to 13 takes home a free pumpkin with their ticket. Back at the museum, the fun keeps rolling with trick-or-treating, photo ops, a pumpkin-decorating coloring station, games, and so much more. Halloween music and festive decorations fill the grounds all day long, and our volunteers dress in railroad-themed costumes to bring the whole experience to life. With six daily departures starting at 11:15 AM, there's plenty of room for everyone. Don't miss this beloved autumn tradition the whole family will enjoy!
